Is IE7 showing a bar in the browser?
Is there some kind of security message (a yellow bar) at the top of the view area of the browser? Sometimes IE will block the install, and you have to tell it to continue.
Or are you saying that you go through the installation process, but at the end the version number doesn't appear?

Install Fails in IE7>Vista
I am able to allow the ActiveX Install Permission> Then I allow the Vista Install Allow Button> acts like it installs but upon restart of OS and Browser it is not installed and all my Xforms fail.
(1.5.5.1005, 2007-07-13 12:18, bytes)
IE Version 7.0.6000.16473
Vista Business Ultimate
Have you tried the sample forms?
Could you just confirm that all forms are failing, or just your own? There are security settings in IE relating to whether ActiveX components will run in local forms (on the hard-drive), so perhaps you could tell us first whether you can run the samples from our server.
Thank.

We'll investigate Vista further
Thanks for the information--we'll be looking further into Vista-related issues shortly.
