New Date Picker

I don't know if you want to consider switching to a different date picker. I find the one you are using to be very unwieldy. If I want to switch the month or year, it is very cumbersome. Every time I click on an arrow to change the month or year, the calendar goes away and I see the date field again. If I need to go back 10 years, that means this happens 10 times. Instead, the calendar should remain open until I close it/leave it. For the month, I can use either the arrow (with the problem noted above) or if I put the mouse over the month, I get the list of all of the months. It would be good to have this type of feature for picking the year as well. It would also be useful to indicate on the month that the list of other months was available. Only realized this through trial and error. An example of more understandable date picker is: http://www.basicdatepicker.com/. This makes it easy to navigate from month to month and also has a drop down for the month and year, to change those easily.
