The first and simplest deployment model is to ask your users to install the formsPlayer Community Edition, which is free. This provides core functionality for all of the XForms standards (XForms 1.0, XForms 1.0 Second Edition and XForms 1.1). x-port.net will always keep the Community Edition in sync with the latest specifications, allowing developers to experiment with XForms and then deploy, knowing that users will always be able to run their application.

Whilst the Community Edition provides a complete XForms implementation, there will be times when it is not appropriate for some particular web application. For example, if your application requires custom branding--such as changing the opening splash-page, or the logos on user messages--you will need either a Single Project License, or some User Licenses.
