I can get SideWinder installed fine. I have local admin on my Lehman Brothers (investment bank) PC.
However, I can't run the formsplayer ActiveX component. I have tried installing both version 1.4 and 1.5.
Details:
http://www.formsplayer.com/demo/timelog/timelog-demo.html gives me an error regarding the digital signature of the cab file, stating that "The certificate is not valid for the requested usage". Due to the locked-down nature of the Internet Explorer browser here, I am unable to override this in any way and view the demo.
Mark Birbeck has looked at this and suggested that I post on this forum.

Request for more information
Hi Dave,
There are a number of security settings that might be causing this error. It would be helpful if you could provide the following information off-forum via my contact form, so that I can get to the bottom of this:
1. In "Internet Options > Content > Publishers... > Trusted Root Certification Authorities", is there an entry listed for "UTN-USERFirst-Object"?
2. If so, what is the value of the "Expiration Date" column?
3. In "Internet Options > Security > Internet > Custom Level...":
3.1 What is the setting for "Download signed ActiveX controls"?
3.2 What is the setting for "Run ActiveX controls and plugins"?
Furthermore, we are expecting to incorporate formsPlayer into the Sidewinder Viewer distribution package very soon; this will enable you to work around the issue, in the event that we are unable to make the cabinet archive adhere to the security settings on your machine.
Regards,
Phil.
