I have an XForm that clearly does not work; yet, it neither generates error messages with Sidewinder nor Dubinko's parser. I do not see the input box for File Name. Although XForms programming is new to me, I have done XML schema, XHTML, and Ada. In all three environments, my efforts were supported by meaningful error messages and suggestions. I have not found an XForm that uses an external schema. I can not make an XForm under Sidewinder work with an external CSS file that references XForms elements. I do have one working with an internal cascading style sheet.
I have attached a XForm, a schema, and an XML file generated from the schema by XMLSpy. Is there any other supported tool that can be used to create XForms under XHTML? Are you going to incorporate the creation of more and improved error messages in Sidewinder? I would suggest the creation of a tool or wizard for the creation of XPath statements. When I leave out an ending >, I notice that Sidewinder crashes when refresh the form. Is Sidewinder an XForm application?
Are you going to create a commercial version of Sidewinder?
Thank you.
Bob Leif
