Using a formsPlayer User Licence key

If you have purchased a formsPlayer User Licence key to remove the default splash page and branding on your forms, the following instructions detail how to use the key.

After installing formsPlayer on the machine you wish to use unbranded XForms on:

1. Log on as a user with administrative rights;
2. Navigate to the licence key registration page;
3. Copy and paste, or type the entire licence key, including the curly braces, into the input control;
4. Press the 'Submit' trigger (you will not get any confirmation of success);
5. formsPlayer will now be 'unlocked'.

Verify that formsPlayer is now unlocked by:

1. Closing all instances of Internet Explorer;
2. Navigating to one of your forms that previously contained branding;
3. Verifying that you no longer see the splash-screen, red stripe and, if applicable, logos by each of the XForms controls.

• The operating system you are using (eg. XP SP2);
• The version of formsPlayer you are trying to licence (eg. 1.4.1.1009);
• The licence key you are trying to use;
• Please also quote any error message(s) you may have received.
