formsPlayer implements all of the W3C's XForms 1.0 specification. As with any specification, there have been clarifications about what exactly the original document meant, and these have recently been published in the form of XForms 1.0 Third Edition.
Some of these clarifications have a subtle effect on the way an XForms processor is to behave, and therefore how a form might be written. These changes are extremely unlikely to affect your forms, but if you have been using formsPlayer for a while you should take a look at the guide to be sure that your forms don't need changing.
If you are a new user of formsPlayer though, then you can ignore the distinction between different versions of formsPlayer, and just go right ahead and take a look at the latest release.
