Installation Hanging on IE7 / WinXP SP2

Edit: I'm running IE7 not IE8.

I tried going to the installation page for version 1.4 (http://www.formsplayer.com/install/formsPlayer?latestreleases=1,4,3,1040) but nothing happens. The page says "formsPlayer is being downloaded and installed. Please wait" and never changes. I have tried refreshing the page and leaving and returning to the page but get the same result. There are no messages from IE7 that it is blocking any installations.

FOLLOW UP:
I tried installing version 1.6 and it worked. So far, everything looks good.
